For me, this was by far the best city that we visited in Asia. It just had everything, like it was a city that was built for fun, in particular for tourists as it seemed packed with tourist locations and attractions including waterworlds, really cool (if not too busy) bars, the KL tower, and the unbelievable Petronas towers. The city is well lit up with big screens, almost constantly showing Premiership highlights for the motorists stuck in traffic. Lots of fancy hotels, shops, the whole lot.

Singapore turned out to be quiet similar to Kuala Lumpur with shopping centers and humid wet weather being the two consistent factors.
To save a little on money we took the over night train from Kuala Lumpur down to Singapore city. Like all the over nighters, the train ride was fairly easy going with the exception of border control where we had to leave with all our luggage and go through customs. Only a small inconvenience.
